Child & Adolescent Inpatient
The child program, ages 5-12, focuses on developmental issues of school and family problems. Frequently, hyperactivity and depression are the presenting problems.

The adolescent program, ages 13-17, emphasizes issues dealing with identity, often presenting with depression, substance abuse and/or aggressive behavior.

The warm, nurturing environment, combined with consistent limit setting and a behavioral modification program, provide the stable and positive atmosphere needed for continued psychological and emotional growth for children of all ages.

Because school is often a major portion of a young person s world, it is one emphasis of the inpatient program. An educational assessment is completed and a plan is developed to ensure the most appropriate interventions to maintain and foster academic progress.
