One of the nation's largest and most successful e-government programs, VINE allows crime victims across the country to obtain timely and reliable information about criminal cases and the custody status of offenders 24 hours a day - over the telephone, through the Internet, or by e-mail. Victims can call to inquire about the current status of an inmate and can register to be notified immediately upon a change in the inmate's status, such as a release, escape, or court appearance.

Victims, witnesses, family members and friends of murder, attempted murder, assault, robbery, kidnapping, motor vehicle crashes, domestic violence, sexual assault, traumatic injury; services/programs include individual, family and group counseling, post trauma-expressive arts therapy for children ages 2-18, a crisis line, a community crisis response team, a drop in center, hospital visitation, criminal justice advocacy, court accompaniment, and information and referral.
