Programs Offered

Both methadone and buprenorphine help normalize brain chemistry, prevent withdrawal symptoms, and provide a blocking effect, so any use of opiates would not be felt.  Please ask our staff about which program best suits your needs!  All programs include a detailed history and physical exam, urine drug screen testing and analysis, educational information re: HIV and Hepatitis C, TB testing and screening, and individual and group counseling services. 

 

Buprenorphine Program
(suboxone and subutex)

   > Physicians certified in

      buprenorphine treatment

   > Detoxification and maintenance

       outpatient programs

   > Psychiatric Services available

   > Counseling provided on-site by a

       certified AOD

      counselor/psychiatric nurse

   > Group counseling

   > Urinalysis testing

 

Methadone Maintenance Program

  > Long-term program utilizing

     methadone, which includes

     individual and group counseling 

  > Free psychiatric services available 

  > Medi-Cal accepted

Short-term Detoxification Program(21 days)

  > Medically supervised withdrawal program utilizing methadone in decreasing doses over a 3 weekperiod

 

  > Appropriate for those seeking treatment for the first time or for short-term users.  Includes:

 

  > Two individual counseling

   sessions

  > Access to on-site groups

  > Referral services

  > Limited medical services

 

We recommend the use of certain amino acids and vitamins when withdrawing from methadone.  We can provide Nutridone or Neuro-Recover at cost. 

 

Long-term Detoxification Program (180 days)

 

  > Short-term program utilizing methadone over a 6 month period. 

 

  > A stabilization dose is achieved in the first few weeks of treatment.  Patients remain on the stabilization dose for approximately 3 months and gradually taper off the medication over the final 3 months.

 

  > Private Pay Only (sliding scale)
