Commission-based Magazine Advertising Sales
The Empowerment Magazine is seeking highly-motivated advertising sales specialists to sell advertising space for its quarterly magazine in the Sacramento area. This position is a 100% commission based position. As a result you will be paid on the last day of the month based on number and price of your sold ads. No salary, no medical, dental, or vocation benefits. You must be able to motivate yourself because this is a work at home position. You will be provided with a highly targeted list of potential advertisers
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include.
•conducting cold calling,
•meeting with business executives to make sales presentations,
•servicing and renewing existing clients,
•writing sales proposals,
•account management,
•customer service, and
•networking at various community and business events
•assisting in prospecting new advertisers
Ideal Candidate Must be:
•experienced in cold calling
•highly self motivated and goal-oriented
•successful and experienced sales professional (magazine ad sales experience is plus)
•skilled in communicating effectively both orally and in writing
•energetic and ambitious
•naturally outgoing, and
•upbeat
