Adult Psychiatric Support Services (APSS) Clinic
 
A mental health outpatient clinic for Sacramento County residents who have CalWORKs program eligibility or who have Medi-Cal coverage through managed care and meet certain other criteria. Contact your CalWORKs Clinical Team counselor or the Sacramento County Adult ACCESS Team for a referral to this clinic.

Mental Health Crisis Center
 
If a person who is being treated at a local RST clinic is in crisis, you can call that agency's main number at any time for crisis help. On weekends, holidays or after the hours of the community clinics, you can call the Crisis Center to reach someone who knows about local crisis intervention resources.

Services for adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Outpatient mental health services, including crisis intervention, case management, rehabilitation, and medication support services to adults are provided at the following locations, depending on the area of the county where the person lives. Adult Medi-Cal recipients who are experiencing mental health problems that disrupt or interfere with daily living may be eligible for free and confidential counseling and psychiatric services.

Crisis intervention and stabilization for adults in crisis with psychotic symptoms, suicidal or violent behavior, for up to 23 hours. Also provides 24-hour full-range psychiatric services in a locked setting for people who are a danger to themselves or others or require 24-hour care in a locked setting.

Transitional Living and Community Support, Inc. (TLCS)
 
Emergency, transitional and permanent housing for people with psychiatric disabilities. Supportive services includes case management, entitlement advocacy, and life skills development tailored to the needs of clients. To get access to these services, contact the Adult ACCESS Team.
