Adelante Transitional Home - Mexican American Alcoholism Prog

Screening a total of four Sacramento area transitional residence homes for men and women coming out of recovery or treatment program for alcohol and/or drug dependency. Maximum stay of six months enables recovering individuals time to get a job and save money in a clean and sober environment. Residents responsible for buying their own food and doing their own cooking. One live-in staff member.

SFBS is dedicated to helping families achieve long-term stability and economic independence. In order to accomplish this goal we provide a structured program of mentoring, education, and community service, along with safe and affordable housing.

A social model transitional housing program for homeless single adults focusing on independent living skills. Intensive case management services, 24-hour a day support services, substance abuse services. Provides preparation for the transition from homelessness to independent living status. Three sites available: two for males, one for females. Addresses will be given when applying for services.

A residential program. The Center's goal is to assist federal ex-offenders, both men and women, to prepare for a smooth transition from prison to community living, to rebuild relationships, acquire steady employment, accumulate funds and re-discover dignity and respect. The Center provides living quarters, food, work adjustment, supervised living, referral to community resources and medical and dental services, transportation, group and individual counseling and personal-social adjustment assistance and evaluation. Referral from Federal Bureau of Prisons only.
